He's No Wile E. Coyote

The first time I saw the above card my immediate thought was of this:

I think most of us know who that is, and though Joe Rudi has had his share of running into walls, he was never duped into doing it and never actually ran through one.

Joe Rudi has always been a favorite of mine. A buddy and I wanted to BE him when we were young in the 70's. We'd try to mimic those full speed diving catches Rudi was known for. So awesome.

That was just one of the cards in the TCDB trade with propmaker:

Always great trading with another Angels fan.

TCDB trade with Bizzork:

Yep, one of those Rediscover Topps offer cards that most everyone threw out, but I collect. There are actual variations of these, and this one is the FREEPACK2016 variation.
I picked up that Olympicards card thinking Jim Abbott was pictured, but its Todd Greene (a fringe PC guy) that was on this team, not Abbott. Still a win.

TCDB Trade With Lyrical Kees

First time trading with Amy, and I'm pleased.
I was also pleased when Ultra gold cards went from the little foil medallion to the full gold background.

Another TCDB Trade With propmaker

This was a two PWE trade since the first trade went so well.

TCDB Trade With pudge2112

More of the much better (in my opinion) Gold Medallions.

  2. That's such an awesome photo of Rudi. I probably should add the autographed version to my A's PC at some point.
