Sorry, Wrong Guy

2001 Bowman Heritage #319 Tim Salmon

Except that's a photo of Troy Glaus

Poor Tim didn't get his picture on a card for 2001 Bowman Heritage,
which is weird because he'd been in the league for 7 years by now. Everyone knew who Tim Salmon was by then.

Angels Cameo

Tony Phillips makes an appearance on Mickey Tettletons 1995 Upper Deck SP card.

Tettleton and Phillips played together on the Tigers from 1991-1994.

Phillips played for the Angels in 1995 (where he hit 27 lead-off home runs) and then came back again in 1997.

A Happy Camper

I haven't gone camping in, well, I can't even remember the last time, it's been so long. I always loved it when we did though, good times. In April we took a road trip that consisted of back-to-back nine-hour driving days with a hotel stay in between. No more tents for me. I don't think I can do those long driving days anymore either. I max out at about six hours of driving now, but I still prefer driving over flying. Flying is miserable anymore, the thought of it makes me very unhappy.

I'm very happy now, however, to be the recipient of one of the packages Rod of Padrographs sent out recently.

Rod plugged a lot of gaps I had in some recent Angels team sets.
Thanks for thinking of me Rod!

Here are the cards from a TCDB Trade with azdbacks252003

I'm happy Kellen was nice enough to send these as replacements as the first PWE is lost in the mail.
That's only the second time in 600+ transactions that the cards were lost.
If the PWE ever shows up, I'll certainly send some cards in return.
Nice to get some Angels autographs too.

How about you, do/did you enjoy camping?
