The Good Doctor

Not.
This Dr. Octopus is one of a 5-card 1995 Ralston Foods Spiderman set I've been working on for a while.
My son had pulled the Spiderman card out of a cereal box in 1995.
I still need the Hobgoblin and Lizard cards.

The Tanana was a big score for my collection and the autograph on the Madrigal was an unexpected but welcome surprise from rabinfw.

Some recent Angels from RyanFrueh:

A bunch of different Caden Dana cards in this lot.
Dana has been leveled by mono since January.

Trade with Redlegs:

I think it's Johnny that has been my Montgomery Angels supplier the last few years, but these two cards I somehow still needed.

Trade with Supergajit:

Always glad to find another Shoeless Joe card.

Trades, Trades, and More Trades

 More incomming from TCDB

Here's what came in from hiflew:

Jay was nice enough to include this Silver Surfer he had that I commented on:

Thanks Jay!

Here's a nice trade from CarolinaEagle:

I'm not calling it an Ohtani PC. I'll always pick up Ohtani Angels cards, but for the Dodgers I'm just picking some up here and there.

Made a trade with newer blogger SirNailhead through TCDB and netted some nice cards:

Small trade with LeeHammer:

Leaning towards the older stuff in this trade with Krimpets:

I love it when I can get such a great variety of cards in one trade.

Trade with BigOinPa:

Zach Neto, man he's turning out to be pretty awesome.

Here's some cards from La Loosh:

I now have a decent stack of the '82 Fleer stickers...probably a good time to get them organized and bindered.

Binder Deep Dive 1

I have a binder packed full of miscellaneous Angels items, let's explore the contents of one of the pages.

Let's see what's inside Page 1.

2008 Team Issued Shane Victorino Signed 4x6 Postcard
I got this as part of a fan pack, when I used to send away for fan packs.
Victorino ended his career with the Angels in 2015, I'm glad I hung on to this for his eventual addition to the All Time Angels Autographs collection.

Two 2019 Sports Illustrated For Kids Mike Trout posters.
I unstapled the whole magazine to pull these out, rather than tearing them out at the perforation, hence the lower portion with Sam Ehlinger still attached.

2009 Angels Media Guide Autographed Steve Soliz page.
Soliz was the Angels Bullpen Catcher from 2003 to 2010, then Bullpen Coach from 2011 to 2015. He Managed the Boise Hawks (Angels) in 2019.
I got this in person at a game when the Angels were here to play the Rangers in 2009.

Tune in next time for page 2.

Noooo!

Just now read that Angels Great Garret Anderson has passed away at the age of 53 due to a heart attack.

So sad.

It's My Heritage

Target had some, so in order to not miss out I bought a hangar box.
It's also great in that I now have another Trout box to store for the collection.

Light Purple parallel, Burgandy Sparkle parallel, Chrome Refractor parallel, and a Ready, and Action insert.

Yay, Trout pull.
The Narvaez is an SP.

And the boring rest.
Nothing to get excited about here.

Its a Buyers Market

It's been a buyers' market for me at least as I keep coming across product at my local Target to buy, like this fat pack of 2025 Stadium Club. I also found some Heritage which I'll show you in a later post.

Freddy Freeman, whom a daughter has a crush on.

Three pink parallel. Meh.

Angels!
An Ohtani for the unofficial PC, and the only other insert in the pack, a Yamamoto card.

Those are the vets I pulled, again, meh.

And all the rest.
Not too exciting except for the Angels and Ohtani.

More Towards 1987

The cards for my 1987 Angels quest are trickling in.

Here are some from a trade with sportzking:

1987 Fleer Update Glossy was the focus in this trade.

And a couple PC guys.

Those Angels cards get me to 69.5% for the 1987 Angels Quest.

Not from 1987 but definitely high on the interest list:

More great Fleer stickers.
A page of these just looks so good.
These came in a trade with Mjprigge.

Here are a big bunch of cards from Boots:

This is an error card as his name is misspelled "Fluery" on the back.

These cards arrived unexpectedly from MarkZ:

Mark wanted to contribute to the 1978 Topps set build, which I haven't officially kicked off yet.
Glad to have them!

Here's a predominantly Heritage for Heritage swap from Geo Boyle:

One for the Joyner PC, and the Varsho is an ERR showing Mike Bielecki on the back.
Aside from the Griffey RC, I'm down to needing just a handful of the ERR cards to complete the 1989 Upper Deck set.

The next trade comes in from Rk100981

Current Angels needs and I'm still working the 2007 Turkey Red set. I'm about 20 cards away from the set but all but one are SPs, so that may never happen.

And to wrap this post up, a trade with Williams3b

Mostly 1994 Fleer Update, and this beauty:

1982 Topps - Team Leaders / Checklists Offer Card.

They just don't make special offer cards like this anymore.
So simple, so cool.
