The Lonely Blaster

I hit Target yesterday looking for some cards and the only thing for baseball was this blaster. Literally the only baseball item was this single blaster.

No packs, no jumbos, nothing. So I bought it thinking I might not see any more packs this year even though I'm usually not a big spender like that, I typically just pick up a pack here and there.

I brought it home and told my wife that I would wait to open it and that she can give it to me for my birthday coming up. She insisted that I open it now.

I've been a bit unamused with opening new material the past few years, so let's be unamused together, shall we?

Pack 1

First card for 2026.

I'm not going to do a running commentary, let's just see what I pulled.

Pack 2

Pack 3

Pack 4

Pack 5

Pack 6

That's it.

Are you all finding product in your area yet?

  1. The Pantego Walmart that I bought the damaged hanger pack in has sold out of their Series 1. I haven't hit any other Targets or Walmarts because, well, I don't need anything there. If I do see anything, I will let you know.

  2. I haven't actually hit up any stores in search of 2026 Topps yet. Disappointing I know, but hopefully I can hit the LCS soon

  3. The Walmart closest to me had plenty, but I bought none. Waiting for the complete set.

  4. Always interests me when my local big boxes are well-stocked and others in the country aren't. I'm used to the exact opposite. I keep checking each week just to see how long it will last.

  5. I'm glad that you found something, even if it was more than what you might have intended/anticipated. Thank you for sharing all the cards. The other week when I went, Target was loaded with Series 1 and I believe, also, 2025 Update (or actually that was BJ's with Update). Hope it's decent trade bait if that's what you're going to do with it...

  6. That Jackson Merrill is pretty cool... but not as cool as your wife. That's awesome that she encouraged you to open it up. As for finding product in my area, I haven't looked lately. But I know that Target carries it on their website, so if I get the itch... I'll just order a box online.
