Once in a while I come across a card that is particularly striking.

Flair had some pretty nice designs in the 90's.
I could never afford those packs back then, so until I started blogging and trading, they were elusive.
I'm fairly sure all my Angels teams sets are complete now though.

What struck me most about this card was this back.
I don't know; the balance, the color, it hit me just right.
Gotta love it when the photo on the back would look just as good as if it were the front photo!

ReplyDeleteyeah those first couple of years Flair came in those shiny box packs. So high end for the time.
ReplyDeleteI love mid 90's Flair. Putting each pack inside of their own box was a great marketing strategy. I'm sure breakers would hate dealing with it... and the extra packaging isn't exactly helping with waste... but back in the 90's I thought it was awesome. And the cards themselves are gorgeous.
